Le manoir de Kernault (The Kernault Manor)

  Le domaine de Kernault s’étend sur 32 hectares. Il est composé de boisements, de prairies, de vergers et d’un clos patrimonial qui abrite des bâtiments qui racontent 500 ans d’histoire des manoirs en Bretagne.

Hiver comme été, ce grand jardin où l’on pratique la « gestion différenciée » accueille tous ceux et celles qui ont envie de balades et de culture. En 2020, le département du Finistère, propriétaire du site, entreprend une grande campagne de restauration du grenier à pans de bois et du logis pour garantir la pérennité de ce patrimoine bâti d’exception. En 2022, le grenier à pans de bois de Kernault, ce joyau du 17e siècle construit par Jean Le Véer et classé monument historique, ouvre ses portes.

En cas d'alerte météo : lors du classement du département du Finistère en vigilance orange vent violent, le parc est fermé pour raisons de sécurité. Merci de votre compréhension. N'hésitez pas à nous appeler avant de vous déplacer. 

Expositions en 2023

Exposition Fantastiques créatures. Les créatures fantastiques habitent notre imaginaire après avoir autrefois peuplé les terres inexplorées. Sirène, dragon, licorne… ces créatures nous accompagnent à travers le temps et se transforment, à l’image de nos propres évolutions. Elles nous aident à grandir… en nous faisant parfois frissonner !
Elles nous font aussi atteindre l’impossible et rêver d’un idéal certes inaccessible mais si merveilleux ! EN SAVOIR +

Dragons, licornes et sirènes s'échappent de l'expo-expérience Fantastiques créatures pour venir vous rencontrer en chair et en os ! Au bord du vivier de Kernault, à la Mella’thèque de Mellac, à l’Aquapaq de Quimperlé, au cinéma Le Kerfany à Moëlan-sur-Mer ou encore dans la mezzanine du nouveau café et sur les chemins du parc de Kernault, les fantastiques créatures vous attendent pour de merveilleux moments en leur compagnie !   The Kernault estate covers 32 hectares. It is made up of woods, meadows, orchards and a heritage enclosure which houses buildings that tell 500 years of the history of manor houses in Brittany.

In winter as in summer, this large garden where “differentiated management” is practiced welcomes all those who fancy walks and culture. In 2020, the department of Finistère, owner of the site, is undertaking a major campaign to restore the half-timbered attic and the dwelling to guarantee the sustainability of this exceptional built heritage. In 2022, the half-timbered attic of Kernault, this 17th century jewel built by Jean Le Véer and classified as a historic monument, opens its doors.

Fantastic Creatures Exhibition. Fantastic creatures inhabit our imagination after having once populated unexplored lands. Mermaid, dragon, unicorn… these creatures accompany us through time and transform, like our own evolutions. They help us grow...sometimes making us shiver!

At the edge of the Kernault fishpond, at the Mella'thèque in Mellac, at the Aquapaq in Quimperlé, at the Le Kerfany cinema in Moëlan-sur-Mer or even in the mezzanine of the new café and on the paths of the Kernault park, the fantastic creatures await you for wonderful moments in their company!
